Advancing the Understanding of Overactive Bladder and Voiding Dysfunctions
Proposals are now being accepted for grant award in 2006
Pfizer Inc provides the Overactive Bladder Competitive Grants Program to offer investigators the opportunity to submit research proposals to:
• Advance the understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms and pathophysiology of overactive bladder, voiding function/dysfunction.
• Advance the understanding of epidemiology, quality of life, clinical screening and diagnosis of overactive bladder and other related voiding conditions.
• Advance the clinical treatment of overactive bladder and other related voiding conditions.
In 2006, The Overactive Bladder Competitive Grants Program will fund both Basic Science and Clinical Research proposals. Academic investigators, health care professionals and fellows are encouraged to apply.
All projects should yield results that merit submission as abstracts to scientific meetings and subsequent publication in peer-reviewed journals.
All grant proposals must be submitted online at www.detrollagrants.com by November 30th 2005. An independent and multidisciplinary grant review committee will judge those proposals based on their originality, scientific merit and feasibility.
